Privacy

What we collect: the pages you visit, the answers you give in a quiz, your approximate device type, and any advertising click identifiers attached to the link you arrived on. We store a hashed version of your IP address rather than the address itself.

Why we collect it: to work out which of our guides to show you, to measure whether our advertising is worth running, and to detect fraudulent traffic.

Advertising: our advertising partners set their own cookies and may use them to personalise the ads you see. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at google.com/settings/ads.

Your rights: you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@example.com. We respond within 30 days.

Retention: quiz answers and event logs are kept for 13 months and then deleted.
